Samsung Galaxy S25 series pricing may remain unchanged: Here is what to expect

According to a source, Samsung will not raise the price of the Galaxy S25 models in order to compete with Apple, just as they did not raise the price of the iPhone 16 series over the iPhone 15 range.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which is anticipated to be released internationally in early 2025, is anticipated to be priced at what is currently offered by the company. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and normal Galaxy S25 will all be part of the portfolio.

Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup is claimed to be unveiled globally on January 22, 2025, at Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, US. According to a report by Sammy Fans, Samsung is anticipated to refrain from raising the price of the Galaxy S25 series smartphones. According to the source, Apple’s choice to keep the pricing of the iPhone 16 series phones lower than that of the iPhone 15 range may have had an impact on this decision.

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S25 will retail for $799 in the US for the 12GB RAM with 128GB option and $859 for the 256GB version. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ is rumoured to be available in two models, each costing Rs $1,119 and Rs $999, and including 12GB RAM and 256GB and 512GB of storage. The 12GB RAM and 256GB and 512GB storage versions of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra are anticipated to retail for $1,299 and $1,419, respectively. It is anticipated that the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage would cost $1,659.

Additionally, the next series is probably going to give free double storage, extra trade-in credit, and up to $50 Samsung Credit when you pre-order and reserve. Depending on the terms and limitations, sellers and retailers may also give away free items like Galaxy Watches or Galaxy Buds to US customers.

According to reports, Samsung will be making major design modifications to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, such as bringing slimmer bezels and a more rounded frame. Additionally, the design of the camera ring is being tweaked to better resemble the Galaxy Z Fold 6‘s appearance. With rounded corners and a metallic finish, the Titanium option may provide a handset that looks like the most recent iPhone models.

Significant performance enhancements, such as a 16GB RAM upgrade and the elimination of Exynos processors because there have been problems at Samsung Foundry, are anticipated in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. All versions could include Qualcomm processors, which might boost effectiveness and performance. The flagship from the previous year could not have seen any notable improvements, though.
