The Ultra model, destined for the US market, flexes the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, while the S25+ European variant showcases Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.

In the September leaks, the Galaxy S25 Ultra (model SM-S938B) had already hinted at its prowess. Now, the US version surfaces with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for Galaxy, boasting a beefed-up prime core clocked at 4.47GHz, up from the previous 4.32GHz. Running on Android 15, this powerhouse notched a single-core score of 3148 and a multi-core score of 10236 on Geekbench. Crossing the 10,000 mark places it toe-to-toe with top-tier competitors, indicating Samsung’s intent to dominate the performance charts.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25+ (model SM-S936B) for Europe isn’t just tagging along. Sporting the Exynos 2500 built on a 3nm process, it features a deca-core CPU configuration: a 3.3GHz prime core, five performance cores split between 2.36GHz and 2.75GHz, and two 1.8GHz efficiency cores. Coupled with 12GB of RAM and Android 15, it scored 2359 in single-core and 8141 in multi-core tests. While these numbers trail its Snapdragon sibling, it’s essential to remember that benchmark figures often improve in final retail units.
Notably, earlier listings hinted at the inclusion of the Xclipse 950 GPU in the Exynos variant, leveraging AMD’s RDNA architecture with support for Vulkan 1.3. This partnership could be Samsung’s ace up its sleeve in the graphics department, potentially elevating mobile gaming and multimedia experiences.
