Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G promo video lands on the internet, displaying the foldable phone from all sides

The smartphone is said to be powered by Snapdragon 865+ SoC

Samsung Unpacked 2020 event is confirmed for August 5 next month. There at the event, the company is most likely to launch its next iteration of Note and the foldable smartphone- Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Note 20. Ahead of the launch event, a video promo of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has been leaked on the web showing the foldable device from all the sides. The device looks similar to the LTE version of the Galaxy Z Flip also some key specifications of the upcoming device have also appeared online suggesting minor changes in terms of design and internals.

A famous tipster Evan Blass on its Twitter account has shared a promo video of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G suggesting slight changes over the Galaxy Z Flip that was launched back in February. However, it definitely supports 5G which the original model did not offer. As per the tipster, the foldable phone will appear in a new Mystic Bronze colour option which the leaked video also confirms.

According to Max Weinbach the only significant change coming to the device is on the part of the chipset. The handset will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor while its 4G model offers Snapdragon 855+. He did mention that only a “negligible amount” of changes will be there in the part of the dimensions. He says the device will be 0.5mm thicker and 0.1mm taller while the Software is One UI 2.5 and the battery is also the same. The camera set up also remains the same as the former model along with the same sensor too.

In the meanwhile, Galaxy Z Flip 5G has been listed on the Samsung Hungary website with a model number SM-F707B. It is important to note that the model number is the same as what was spotted on Geekbench listing last month.

Last month the Foldable device appeared on China’s regulatory body TENAA’s website with model number SM-F7070 stating there will be two batteries, a 2,500mAh and a 704mAh battery for a total capacity of 3,204mAh. It is suggested to come with a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display with1,080×2,636 pixels of resolution and a secondary 1.05-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 112×300 pixels. It is said to measure 167.3×73.6×7.2mm.

Another leak suggests that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC and have dual cameras on the back, a 12-megapixel and a 10-megapixel, along with a 12-megapixel selfie camera. While the battery is said to have 15W fast charging support.
