In the recent past, we’ve noticed that smartphones manufacturers are introducing major chances to make the device more attract for customers across the globe. Now, news is rife that Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with its first under-display camera (UDC) for selfie freaks.
According to a report from South Korean website ETNews, Samsung is planning to deploy under-display cameras on its next Galaxy Fold 3 smartphone. Samsung is planning to deploy under-display cameras on its next Galaxy Fold 3 smartphone. UDC is a technology that places the camera under the display, making the camera invisible from the outside. The much-anticipated handset is likely to be launched in the third quarter of 2021.
What is more interesting is that under-display camera does not require a notch or hole because the camera is placed behind the display. This means that one can access a full-screen of Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 smartphone as there would be no notch edging or small punch-holes.
If we believe the reports to be true Samsung Electronics is reportedly planning to commercialize under-display camera via combination of display and camera technology. According to the report, placing the camera behind the screen interferes with the display shooting as the light that must enter the lens may be refracted. Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 spreads the screen from side to side like a notebook. The company could provide larger screen to smartphone users if the camera is not visible on the screen.
