As CES 2026 gets closer, big tech companies like Samsung have started to show off their new products. The South Korean company has released Freestyle+, an AI-powered portable projector that is meant to provide users with a flexible and personalised entertainment experience. It improves the design of the original Freestyle by adding better AI functions, brighter screens, and more functionality to make it easier to consume content with little setup.
The Freestyle+ is a portable projector that is easy to move and travel with. It has a small, cylindrical form that makes it simple to move. The device boasts 430 ISO lumens of brightness, which is almost twice as much as its predecessor. This makes content clear and engaging in various living situations. Its novel design lets it rotate 180 degrees, so it can project onto walls, floors, and ceilings from almost any angle. Such versatility means you don’t need any extra mounts or accessories. This flexibility lets consumers change how they watch content naturally throughout the day.
AI OptiScreen is the innovative technology behind Freestyle+, which automatically optimises the screen for different surroundings. This system has smart features that improve the quality of viewing on diverse surfaces. The 3D Auto Keystone feature fixes distortions on uneven surfaces, and the Real-time Focus feature keeps images clear and steady while the projector moves.

The Screen Fit function makes sure that the projected image fits the size of a suitable screen attachment. Wall calibration also looks at the projection surface to make it less distracting, which makes things clearer. Vision AI Companion is Samsung’s personalised AI platform, which combines a more advanced version of Bixby with third-party AI services. This feature makes it easier to interact with content on the screen.
You may also use the Samsung projector to connect to Samsung TV Plus and other OTT services. Users may watch and play content without needing additional devices. The gadget has a built-in 360-degree speaker for immersive sound, and with Q-Symphony technology, it can sync with compatible Samsung soundbars to make the sound even better.

“The Freestyle+ reflects Samsung’s vision to create displays that adapt naturally to how people live and move between spaces,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “By combining true portability with intelligent AI that optimises both the viewing environment and the content itself, the Freestyle+ makes it easier to enjoy a consistent, high-quality experience wherever you are.”
