Samsung India today expanded its portfolio of single-door refrigerator series in India with the addition of its newest product. The company has launched Digi-Touch Cool 5in1 single-door refrigerators. As the name suggests the machine comes with a digital touch technology enabling users to control their refrigerator settings with a simple touch without opening the refrigerator door and help save energy. In addition to this the new Samsung refrigerators all capacity models from single door to side-by-side now also comes integrated with the Curd Maestro feature.
The Samsung Digi-Touch Cool 5in1 single-door refrigerators have been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 17,990. The new refrigerator range will be offered in four new floral patterns – Delight, Blossom, Marble White and Twirl. It will be available for purchase across all retail channels and on Samsung’s official online store Samsung Shop starting today in the country. The new lineup comes with a 10-year warranty on the compressor and digital inverter technology with a stabilizer. The new Samsung Direct Cool Single Door Refrigerators also include Digi-Touch Cool 5in1 technology and will be available in three different capacities of 198 liters and 225 liters, with 225 liters.
So basically the new Digi Touch CoolTM 5in1 refrigerators include 5 features namely Digital Control Temperature Setting to control the temperature of the device based on varied seasonal conditions. Different levels of temperature points allow one to store their food optimally while meeting the changing season requirements.
Moreover, the Digi-Touch Cool 5in1 range comes with Power Cool features that enable up to 53% faster ice making and 33% faster cooling. In case the refrigerator temperature rises above 9°C due to power outage. Whereas the Black Out Notification feature will notify via flickering lights on the touch panel and the refrigerator will switch to Auto Express cooling to help consumers prevent food wastage. The Eco Mode on the fridge lets the user save up to 28% energy during winters or at night when high-grade cooling is not required.
The Blackout Notification feature in the refrigerator maintains the temperature of the fridge. If the temperature rises above 9°C due to a power outage, the Black Out Notification feature will notify via flickering lights on the touch panel and the refrigerator will switch to Auto Express cooling to help consumers prevent food wastage.
On the other hand, the e-Defrost allows the user to defrost the freezer by pushing the e-Defrost button for 3 seconds. It will instantly start the process of removing any ice on the freezer walls and evaporator, Once the defrosting process completes, it switches off automatically. Consumers can also stop the defrosting process anytime by pressing e-Defrost on the touch panel for 3 seconds.
Additionally, the freezer in the Samsung refrigerator comes with a thermostat knob. Also, the storage has been increased with the addition of an upgraded veg box with an additional 1.5L capacity and a new FreshMax with Bottle Guard.
Apart from this, the company has announced that it will be expanding its popular Curd Maestro feature across the entire range including the entry-level direct cool range as well as frost-free and side-by-side refrigerators.
