Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds launched in India

The earphones come with a metallic finish and gold-plated charging pins

German audio brand, Sennheiser, today announced the launch of its new TWS earphones in India. The company has introduced Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds. The audio device is the successor of its Momentum True Wireless earphones. These come integrated with Active Noise Cancellation and are touted to deliver a 7-hours of battery life. The earphones will be available in a single black colour option.

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds have been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 24,990. The earphones are now available for sale via the company’s official website and other major retail outlets in the country. At the moment it will be offered in Black colour option however the white colour variant will be available at a later point.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds specifications

The Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds come with a company’s own 7mm dynamic drivers to deliver impressive stereo sound with deep bass, natural mids and clear, detailed treble. For connectivity, it supports aptX Bluetooth codec and one can the audio can be customised as per one’s preference with the help of built-in equalizer and Sennheiser’s Smart Control App.

Moreover, there is said to have a new Active Noise Cancellation feature which works best even in a noisy environment for better sound experience. The passive noise isolation minimises distractions without compromising the quality of sound. It has a Transparent Hearing feature that lets the user blend in outside ambient sound at a touch, great when you are travelling or at an airport. One can use it to make phone calls and interact with smart devices using voice commands. Whereas the two microphones lessen the noise and ensure crystal clear voice pick-up. According to the company the earphones have touch controls and can even be customized to let users define their preferred way of controlling audio, calls or activating voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Apple Siri. The Smart Pause feature on the device allows it to automatically pause audio playback when the earbuds are removed and seamlessly resume when they are replaced in the ear.

With the use of Sennheiser’s Smart Control App allows the user to enable EQ adjustments and firmware updates. In terms of design the Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds are 2mm smaller than its predecessor and it fits easily into the user’s ear canal. It offers around seven hours of playback along with an extended 28 hours with the charging case. The earphones are IPX4-rated for sweat and water resistance.
