Skullcandy Indy truly wireless earbuds launched in India: Price and features

America-based technology company Skullcandy has introduced the latest version of its truly wireless line up, Indy. The earbuds are meant for consumers who want to experience audio with a whole new level of freedom. According to Skullcandy, Indy gives users “a truly wireless experience that’s intuitive, durable, and will last with them throughout the day.”

Skullcandy’s new Indy earphones are claimed to deliver a seamless, untangled experience with quick pair and capacitive touch controls, while its form factor is said to provide a noise isolating fit so that you don’t miss a beat of its rich sound profile.

The company has also added that it has used removable stability gels and gel tips to its newest offering in order to ensure a secure fit all day long. The newly-launched earbuds feature a 33-foot Bluetooth range and a competitive battery life boasting four hours in each bud and 12 hours in the pocket-sized charging case. With this, the company has promised a total of 16 hours of battery life.

Speaking about Skullcandy Indy, Amlan Bhattacharjya, CEO at BrandEyes said, “Indy is designed and priced to be the truly wireless product that fits perfectly into the aspirations of the Indian consumers. We’ve combined our wireless technology with a stylish shape and portability that gives our consumers a whole new level of freedom when it comes to experiencing their personal soundtrack.”

We should mention that Indy is said to be a feature-rich triple wireless earbud that has been designed to fit naturally within the everyday life of wireless users. The new product comes with Bluetooth for connectivity and it has an in-built microphone with touch controls for quick and easy access to your device’s active assistant and media content.

They also have controls for call, track and volume and are water and dust resistant.

The earbuds are available in Black colour and the company has added that later this year, they will be available in Moab, Indigo Blue, and Mint colour variants too. Skullcandy Indy earbuds are available starting May 21 and are priced at Rs 7,499. They can be picked up from various retail stores in the country.

Prior to this, the company had also launched its Push wireless earbuds in India that marketed with the catchphrase ‘Unique design creates sound without boundaries’. Skullcandy’s Push is its first truly wireless earbuds and the company has promised that the product is capable of offering an ‘untethered audio experience’.
