Our Take

In terms of design, both smartphones are pretty similar from the front as well as from the back. The smartphone comes with the usual side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Also, there is an LCD screen on both devices with a 90Hz refresh rate with the DynamicSwitch feature.

The Poco M5 is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with up to 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Whereas Poco M4 5G comes equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Poco M5 has a triple rear camera set up whereas the Poco M4 comes with a dual-camera setup that lacks a macro sensor, but the primary sensor is the same on both handsets. Even the selfie camera is the same on both phones.

The only notable difference is the presence of 5G connectivity on the Poco M4. When it comes to price, Poco offers everything at better pricing. So, if cameras aren’t an issue for you, the Poco M4 5G is the way to go.
