Sony RS-XP700, SRS-XP500, SRS-XG500 Portable Bluetooth speakers launched in India

All the speakers come with up to 25 hours of battery life and IP rating.

Sony today announced the launch of its new lineup of wireless speakers SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 in India. All three models are portable party speakers that come with Bluetooth connectivity. They are powered by Sony’s own X-Balanced speaker units with Mega Bass as well as Live Sound mode.

The Sony RS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 have been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 26,900, Rs 32,990 and Rs 32,990 respectively. All three models will be available for purchase from August 10 in the country. Right now they are up for pre-bookings. Interested buyers will be able to reserve their preferred models between August 10 and August 16 via Sony retail stores, wwww.ShopatSC.com and all the major offline and online stores in the country. The buyers are also eligible to get Sony F-V120//C microphone worth Rs 1,490 for free.

Speaking of the specifications all three models of the Sony RS-XP700, SRS-XP500, SRS-XG500 carries a cylindrical design and can also stand vertically. Out of the three models, SRS XG-500 is more portable however all of them comes with Sony’s X-Balance speakers and non-circular diaphragm.

The Sony SRS-XP700 has tweeters on the front as well as on the back with two woofers to provide Omnidirectional Party Sound. There is support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC formats and for connectivity, it comes with a stereo mini-jack, USB Type-A (Play and Charge), microphone input, and guitar input. According to the company it comes with up to 25 hours of battery life. The audio device is IPX4-certified and can be paired with the Fiestable app.

On the other hand, Sony SRS-XP500 lacks the company’s Omni Directional Sound support however the features are almost similar to its sibling that includes Ambient Lighting, guitar input and others. The device comes with the same IP rating for protection against splash and dust. It supports SBC, AAC, and LDAC codec as well.

Sony SRS-XG500 includes all the necessary connectivity inputs and IP66 build. It does not include Omni Directional Sound and USB Play and Charge but includes a USB Type-A port. Furthermore, it includes mini-jack, mic input, or guitar input as well
