The upcoming 2020 model of OnePlus TV gets listed on Amazon, now available for pre-bookings

The pre-bookings comes with free two years extended warranty offer

The Chinese premium smartphone company recently confirmed that it will be bringing its budget-smartphone first to India as well as Europe. The device is speculated to be OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord to arrive in the country in July. In the meantime, the company has now listed its upcoming new series of OnePlus smart TV models for pre-bookings on the e-commerce website Amazon. According to the listing, the Television will be unveiled on July 2 which is next week.

OnePlus has listed the new line up of OnePlus affordable smart TV for pre-bookings on the e-commerce website Amazon. As per the listing, the smart TV will be unveiled on July 2 in India. And prior to its official launch in the country is now up for pre-bookings. So the customers pre-booking the device are eligible to get an extended warranty for two years from Acko general insurance company. But to avail of this offer the interested customers should book the TV before July 2. The information related to OnePlus TV is scarce and is expected to be revealed at the time of the launch only.   • Visit the Amazon India website and click here and this will take you to the pre-booking page.
  • In order to pre-book OnePlus TV you have to purchase the 2-year extended warranty offer. 
  • To purchase you have to make a payment of Rs 1,000, however, the original cost of this offer is Rs 3,000
  • For confirmation, you will receive a mail on your registered e-mail id.
  • Once the Television is launched and goes up on sale they should buy any of the TV models before August 5.
  • Until August 10, those who purchase the extended warranty by making a payment of Rs 1000 will receive the paid money as an Amazon Pay balance with a 2-year extended warranty for free.

OnePlus TV pre-bookings

According to the listing, the extended warranty is valid 24 months after the comprehensive manufacturer warranty has expired – This extended warranty covers the TV product from the end of the manufacturer/brand warranty till the end of 3rd year from the TV purchase date.

The listing also includes what’s covered and what’s not covered in the extended warranty. This offer is only valid on the upcoming Televisions range by OnePlus and not the one that was launched last year.

The previous reports suggest that the upcoming 2020 range of TV models will be offered in two screen sizes of 32-inch and 42-inch. According to the Bluetooth SIG website both the devices were spotted with model number 32HA0A00 and 43FA0A00 respectively. The 32-inch model is suggested to arrive with HD resolution whereas the 43-inch model with a full-HD resolution with 1,920×1,080 pixels of resolution and will be supported by Bluetooth v5.0. The pricing of both the variants is said to start at Rs 20,000 onwards.

Until now not many details have been shared by the company but CEO Pete Lau shared in a tweet that the OnePlus TV models will be featuring innovative Gamma Engine along with 93 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut support. This means the 2020 models of OnePlus TV will be offering high-quality picture quality with high colour accuracy. 

To recall OnePlus will be hosting a virtual event on July 2 that will be live-streamed in the country starting 7 PM onwards.
