Thomson’s 32-inch Alpha Series Smart TV launched in India

The new smart TV will be available via the e-commerce website Flipkart.

French consumer electronics company Thomson on Wednesday unveiled a new 32-inch smart TV as part of its Alpha series in an effort to draw in Indian customers. The recently released smart TV will be available for purchase through Flipkart. It includes a bezel-less design, 30W speakers and more.

Thomson’s 32-inch Alpha Series Smart TV is priced at Rs 9,999. The new smart TV will be offered for purchase on Flipkart starting on June 26. Customers will be able to take advantage of a number of incentives, including a 10% discount on SBI Bank credit cards, free Gaana Plus membership, and T&C.

Thomson’s 32-inch Alpha Series Smart TV specifications

The new Alpha series TVs have powerful surround sound, are HD-ready, bezel-free, and pre-loaded with YouTube, Prime Video, Sony Liv, Zee5, Eros Now, and other services. It comes with 30W speakers. Other features include Miracast, WI-Fi, HDMI, USB connectivity, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, and many more.

Enthralled about the launch, Mr. Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO, SPPL, an exclusive brand licensee of THOMSON in India comments “We are excited to launch the all-new Thomson Alpha 32 smart TV, we want consumers to be part of digital India. Therefore, we are offering a price of non-smart, this will be one of the most affordable official smart TVs. This is Thomson’s 3rd new product launch in 2022 and we are all geared up to offer many new products this entire year.”

To recall, Thomson announced the Oath Pro Max 55-inch Ultra-HD LED Android TV in February this year. The Thomson 55OPMAX9055, which costs Rs. 36,999 on Flipkart, boasts an Ultra-HD screen with 60Hz refresh rate, HDR capability, and runs the Android TV operating system. However, it lacks Dolby Vision format.

The bottom-firing speakers have a 40W rated output. Three HDMI ports one of which supports eARC, two USB connections, an Ethernet connector, an optical audio output, an antenna socket, and a composite AV input.
