Vivo T3 Ultra with curved AMOLED screen and MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC launched in India

The smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX921 OIS main camera.

Vivo T3 Ultra has officially debuted in India today. The company’s T3 Series already includes Vivo T3 Pro, T3 5G, T3 Lite, and T3x 5G and now it has become bigger with the addition of the new smartphone. The device features a curved display. It is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ processor. In addition to this, there is a Sony IMX921 OIS sensor with an IP68 rating. It also packs a 5,500mAh battery.

Vivo T3 Ultra is made available in three different configurations:

  • 8GB + 128GB variant- Rs 31,999
  • 8GB + 256GB variant- Rs 33,999
  • 12GB + 256GB variant- Rs 35,999

The device will come in Frost Green and Lunar Gray colourways. HDFC Bank customers can also get a flat discount of Rs 3000, bringing the effective price of the T3 Ultra 5G to Rs 28,999, Rs 30,999 and Rs 32,999, respectively. Buyers can purchase the smartphone via Flipkart, Vivo India’s e-store, and partner retail outlets beginning September 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Vivo T3 Ultra specs, features

Vivo T3 Ultra is powered by a 4 nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on FunTouch OS 14, built on Android 14 out of the box. The device will get two years of Android software updates and three years of security patches.

It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K ultra-clear AMOLED screen with 2800 × 1260 pixels of resolution. The display comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness. The panel has 100% DCI-P3 with 105% NTSC and 452 ppi. There is SCHOTT Xensation α Cover Glass for screen protection.

Vivo T3 Ultra is highlighted with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 OIS main camera with OIS support and f/1.88 aperture as well as an 8MP Ultra wide-angle camera with 120° field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling the handset includes a 50MP Selfie Camera with AF supported and f/2.0 aperture. The Advanced AI Facial Contouring Technology further corrects common distortions from wide-angle lenses, offering natural, balanced portraits. The phone also includes Studio Quality Aura Light for low-light photography. The smartphone also supports 4K video recording at 60 FPS and features hybrid OIS + EIS stabilisation.

The T3 Ultra 5G housed a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 80W FlashCharge for quick charging. The phone has an IP68 rating and can be submerged in water up to 1.5 metres deep for 30 minutes. The new Vivo smartphone has Closed-Box Dual Stereo Speakers for immersive sound, whether gaming or watching videos.
