Redmi K60 Ultra debuts with Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ SoC: Details inside

Redmi K60 Ultra has made its debut in China. Xiaomi has launched three more devices alongside the smartphone- Xiaomi Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro. The newly arrived smartphone comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It features an AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. In addition to this, there is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The device is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

Redmi K60 Ultra price and availability

In terms of availability, the Redmi K60 Ultra is currently up for sale in China and there is no word from the company whether it will be launching the phone in India or not.

The price of the phone is set at Rs CNY 2,599 which translates to Rs 30k for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option. The price of the 16GB RAM with 256Gb storage is set at Rs CNY 2,799 which is around Rs 32k. The 16GB RAM with 512GB storage option comes with a price tag of CNY 2,999 which converts to Rs 34,350. The top-of-the-line 16GB RAM with 1TB storage and 24GB RAM with 1TB memory comes with a price tag of CNY 3,299 which is approx. Rs 38k and CNY 3,599 around Rs 41,200, respectively.

Redmi K60 Ultra Specifications

The Redmi K60 Ultra features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 2272 x 1220 pixels of resolution. The display supports a refresh rate of 144Hz. Under the hood, there is Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, coupled with Mediatek 690 APU. The phone is available with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of storage.

For photos and videos, the Redmi K60 Ultra comes with a triple rear camera setup. The camera unit includes a 50-megapixel IMX800 Sony sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. There is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling.

The newly launched handset has 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. It further includes a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
