The Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, has forayed into a new product category of truly wireless earphones in its home market last month. Now the company has announced that its true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones called Vivo TWS Neo will soon make its way to the Indian shores. Vivo TWS earphones are designed with AI features and DeepX stereo, engineered to give an immersive and seamless audio experience to music lovers on the go.
Expressing excitement on the upcoming launch, Nipun Marya, Director – Brand Strategy, Vivo India said, “Vivo has built a strong brand-value in the Indian smartphone market with its series of innovative products and offering end-to-end customer experience. The company is also teasing the arrival of its upcoming TWS Neo earphones across all its social media channels. However, the company has not given a specific timeline for the launch but the earphones are expected to launch on the same day when the Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro are introduced on July 16.
To recall, Vivo TWS Neo earphones were launched in its domestic market China in June. There the earphones are priced at CNY 499 that translates to Rs 5,300. The Vivo TWS earphones are available in two colour options Starry Blue and Moonlight White.
The Vivo TWS Neo earphones feature 14.2mm dynamic drivers. The moving coils are going to make the most of the company’s own DeepX Stereo Sound effects. The audio effect comes with the company’s latest handsets. In addition to this for connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.2 support. Besides this, the wireless earphones come with other features such as Google Assistant compatibility and a “Find My TWS Neo” device locator. The audio device is claimed to come with up to 4.5 hours of battery life when used with AC encoding and 50 percent volume. Also, it can last up to 2.9 hours with apt Adaptive encoding and 50 percent volume. It offers a combined battery life of 22 hours with the charging case.
