Vivo V25 5G with 50MP Eye AF Selfie Camera launched in India

The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo today added a new smartphone in its V-Series lineup- the Vivo V25 5G. The smartphone comes with a 50MP Eye AF Selfie Camera and 64 MP OIS Night Camera. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery.

The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option of the Vivo V25 5G will be selling at Rs 27,999. There is another 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant that will cost you Rs 31,999. The device will come in two colour options of Surfing Blue and Elegant Black.

Starting at 3 PM today, it will be available for pre-order on Flipkart and the Vivo online store. Buyers can get an additional exchange incentive of up to Rs 2,000 along with an instant reward of Rs. 2,500 when a transaction is made with HDFC, ICICI, and SBI Bank credit/debit cards. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in the nation via Flipkart from September 20 via Flipkart, Vivo India e-store, and offline stores.

Based on Android 12, Funtouch OS 12 powers the Vivo V25 5G. It has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,404 pixels. It features a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, along with up to 12GB of RAM, fuels the smartphone. With its Extended RAM 3.0 function, smartphones now virtually have access to up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone has 256GB of internal storage.

The Vivo V25 5G features a triple rear camera arrangement consisting of a 64-megapixel sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and optical image stabilisation. Additionally, there is a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. A 50-megapixel selfie camera with Eye Autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture is located up front.

The 4,500mAh battery on the Vivo V25 5G supports 44W rapid charging. The smartphone includes dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. It also includes a gyroscope, e-compass, proximity, ambient light, and an accelerometer. Additionally, the cutting-edge Color Changing Fluorite AG Glass technology found in the Vivo V25 5G enables the smartphone’s rear panel to change colour when exposed to sunshine or UV rays. The V25 5G has a Game Boost Mode for gaming, which is meant to release the processor’s power for trouble-free performance. Additionally, it includes a liquid cooling system that quickly cools down the smartphone during vigorous gaming and all-day media consumption.
