Whirlpool 3D Cool Pro+ AC range with 6th Sense Technology launched in India

The new lineup is available in 1-ton, 1.5-ton, and 2 Ton capacities.

Whirlpool today unveiled its 2026 range of 3D Cool Pro+ ACs in India. The new Air Conditioners have 6th Sense Technology, delivering intuitive and personalised cooling at the press of a single button. According to the company, the new lineup is engineered for extreme Indian summers. It delivers a powerful air throw of up to 60 feet. Also, it has Golden Fin technology for coastal conditions, like in Mumbai, where appliances don’t last as long due to rusting in humid conditions.

Whirlpool 3D Cool Pro+ range is powered by 3D Cool Technology, enabling rapid heat removal and uniform airflow, ensuring effective cooling across the room. It is claimed to deliver a powerful air throw of up to 60 feet. The 3D Cool Pro+ eliminates hot spots and ensures consistent comfort even in large living spaces.

For peak summer months, the ACs are tested to deliver effective cooling even when outdoor temperatures reach up to 56 degrees C.

Moreover, for quick cooling, Turbo Chill mode can be turned on, bringing the cool air from the AC to 24 degrees C in just 60 seconds. Not just these, Whirlpool ACs maintain a cleaner air as they have Silver Ion Filters, which help to reduce bacteria and allergens in the air by releasing silver ions, which are anti-microbial in nature, supporting cleaner, healthier air circulation. This is an added advantage as India’s poor air quality is harmful for kids, elderly members, and people who are allergic to dust and have respiratory issues.

The Whirlpool 3D Cool Pro+ range has 6th Sense Technology, powered by smart sensors and Whirlpool’s proprietary algorithms that help in managing temperature, humidity, and air circulation automatically. Apart from that, the 3D Air System enables customised airflow based on their immediate needs. It offers a total of three air modes: focused, diffused and sweep. The Focused Air Mode is for instant relief with high-velocity airflow. The diffused air mode delivers a gentle, uniform breeze, reducing harsh drafts that are ideal for sleeping. Lastly, the sweep air mode turns on the 4-way swing mechanism for consistent cooling in every corner of the room.

The new Whirlpool AC 2026 range is energy efficient too, as it has 6-in-1 Xpand Technology, allowing users to adjust cooling capacity based on occupancy and time of day, from energy-saving lower capacities to 110% performance when maximum cooling is required. It is available with both 3-Star and 5-Star energy ratings and is fully energy compliant as per 2026 BEE specifications.

The Golden Fin technology makes the device resistant to corrosion and protects the heat exchanger in the indoor unit from rusting due to humidity. There is an ODU Self-Clean feature, which reduces dust accumulation on the condenser coil in the outdoor unit.
