Xiaomi announced the launch of Mi Air Purifier 3 in India

The new air purifier will be available via Mi.com, Amazon and Flipkart from November 7

The Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has already made its mark in the smartphone industry and now it is slowly entering into the electronics industry. We are already aware of the company’s smart lights, smart TVs, water, air purifiers and other appliances. The company today announced the launch of another new air purifier in India called Mi Air Purifier 3, which is the successor of Mi Air Purifier 2S that was launched last year.

The latest Air Purifier 3 comes with few improvements and a touchscreen OLED display.

Mi Air Purifier 3 price

Mi Air Purifier 3 has been introduced in the country with a price tag of Rs 9,999. The new air purifier is currently available through its official website Mi.com but from tomorrow onwards it can be purchased via leading online websites Amazon and Flipkart. The device will be available in a single white colour variant. As we already mentioned that Mi Air Purifier 3 is the successor of Mi Air Purifier 2C, which is available in the country with a price label of Rs 6,499.

Mi Air Purifier 3 features

Mi Air Purifier 3 comes with triple layer filtration that includes a main filter, a true HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. The main filter intercepts large particles in the air (PM10 and above). While the Hepa filter is responsible for eliminating 99.97% of small pollutants (PM2.5) and the activated carbon filter is capable of clearing out the air of formaldehyde, toxic substances as well as bad odour. The 360-degree cylindrical filter design allows the device to suck of air from all the directions.

According to Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 3 has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 380m³/h that delivers 6,333 litres of purified air every minute with a coverage area of up to 484ft2. Apart from that, it carries a minimalistic design that features a touch-enabled OLED display which shows the AQI (Air Quality Index) in real-time. The device can also be connected to the Mi Home app that provides allowing real-time AQI monitoring anywhere.
