Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 with 120Hz display launched

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 has been launched in China alongside the Mix Fold 2 foldable phone. Snapdragon 870 SoC powers the tablet and has a 120Hz refresh rate display. The device has a 50-megapixel rear camera and packs a 10,000mAh battery with 67W charging support.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 has been launched with a starting price of CNY 2,999 which translates to Rs 35,400 for the base 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. Whereas the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 3,499 which converts to Rs 41,300 and the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant at CNY 4,199 that comes at around Rs 49,500.

Black, Silver, and Forest Green are the available colour options for purchase. Pre-orders for the Pad 5 Pro 12.4 can be made through the company’s Chinese web shop.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 specifications

The updated Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro features a 12.4-inch WQHD+ display with 2,560×1,600 pixels of resolution. The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 120Hz touch sampling rate with Dolby Vision. The display also supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut, emits 500 nits of brightness and has received blue light emission certification from TUV Rheinland.

The Tab runs on MIUI 13 based on top of Android 12. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with an Adreno 650 GPU powers the tablet. It offers three UFS 3.1 storage options and three LPDDR5 RAM options.

A 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens is included in the optics. It has a 2-megapixel camera up front for selfies and video calls.

Pad 5 Pro comes with a 10,000mAh battery that is supported by 67W charging. A USB Type-C port for charging is also included on the 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. Wi-Fi dual band and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity are supported by the tablet.
