Earlier this week Xiaomi’s spin-off Redmi launched two new devices in China. To expand its portfolio the company unveiled Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. Now Xiaomi is planning to launch one of the smartphones in India. We are very well aware that the company launched Poco F1 as the rebranded of Redmi K30 4G in the Indian market. Soon Redmi K30 Pro will make its way to the Indian market as Poco F2. The most recent  MIUI Camera code suggests new development.

According to the latest report by the publisher, XDA Developer suggests that the new MIUI 11 beta confirmed that Redmi K30 Pro has been spotted inside the code of Mi Camera app. It has found the evidence which proves the possibility to launch under the Poco series. Earlier before the launch of the publisher also spotted Redmi K30 Pro (code-name “lmi”) and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition (code-name “lmipro”). Now on further investigating the camera app, it found the traces of“lmi” or “lmiin.”

The code name “lmi” is associated with Redmi k30 Pro while “in” at the end of “lmiin” signifies India which indicates the possibility of the Indian variant of the Redmi K30 Pro.

“Thus, the device code-named “lmiin”, which we anticipate being the Indian version of the Redmi K30 Pro, is expected to display the watermark “SHOT ON POCO PHONE”. This tells us the Redmi K30 Pro may have POCO-branding when it is sold in India.” the report stated.
