Apple’s relatively more affordable offering, iPhone XR, is now available for pre-orders in India.  If you are interested in buying the smartphone and have been waiting for it, you can pre-book your device at Apple offline retailers like Imagine, Unicorn, and iWorld.

And if you wish to buy it online, you can pre-book it via Amazon, Jio, Airtel’s online store, and IndiaiStore. Although it was supposed to be on Flipkart too, the website is yet to list it.

On IndiaiStore, the Apple iPhone XR has been listed for pre-orders and the website is offering users no cost EMI plans with Bajaj Finserv. Additionally, there is 5% cashback on EMI payments that are done via credit or debit cards from Axis Bank or Citibank credit cards. For non-EMI payments via Citibank or Axis bank credit card holders, there are 5x reward points.

If you buy the smartphone from Airtel Online Store, you can book the iPhone XR with a down payment of Rs 14,999. Customers will be delivered their devices by October 26 and the store is also offering them EMI options that come with a built-in postpaid plan at a lower tariff. According to Airtel, the postpaid plan comes with ‘large dollops of data, unlimited calling and bundled premium content.’

iPhone XR specifications

The Apple iPhone XR has a number of specifications common with iPhone XS including the A12 Bionic processor and the primary camera. However, there are certain differentiators that include its 6.1-inch LCD Liquid Retina screen instead of iPhone XS’ OLED one. Also, the smartphone does not have a 3D Touch, and does not sport dual rear cameras. It also comes without the stainless steel frame that we have seen in iPhone XS and iPhone XS max. The iPhone XR is available in the storage options we mentioned earlier and runs iOS 12.
