Realme might release a smartwatch in India in 2020. While there is no official information or announcement from the company, a new rumour suggests that a smartwatch by the company recently received a BIS or Bureau of Indian Standards certificate. Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth recently launched the Realme 5i in the country through a live video stream where users caught a fleeting glimpse of a fit band similar in design to the Mi band.

Rumours allege that the BIS certificate showed the Realme smartwatch with a model number of RMA183 and that the watch was registered on January 6 2020, which makes us believe a launch may occur sometime soon.

He also revealed last month that the Realme fitness band will make an appearance in the first half of 2020. He also teased a yellow coloured silicone fitness band while hosting the release of the Realme 5i.
