The ‘Made By Google’ event is set to take place on August 12, 2026. This is the annual event where Google unveils its new line of flagship phones and smartwatches. Like last year, the Pixel 11 series will comprise a base variant, a Pro model, and a Pro Plus model. Accompanying these candybar-style phones will be the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All four of these smartphones will be powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 SoC based on a 2nm process. The iconic camera bar will be rejuvenated with background lighting, dubbed ‘Pixel Glow’. The foldable model may get a much-needed camera upgrade. More details are expected as we get closer to launch.

The V80 is expected to come with a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness. It will retain the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor under its hood, but will pack a larger 7,200mAh Si/C battery. There will be 90W wired charging support on board. The rear camera array will comprise a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor.

Redmi’s Note 17 series is set to follow the Redmi Note 15 series this month. So far, the brand has only confirmed the base variant, but the Pro and Pro+ models are certainly on their way. The base model will flaunt a massive 6.99-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The China-spec version of the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. Its rear camera island houses a lone 50MP primary shooter. The smartphone packs a stupendous 8,000mAh battery pack with support for 45W wired charging.

After 7 long years, the Vivo S series is making a comeback. The Vivo S2 is expected to fetch up to Rs 45,000. It is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset. The smartphone will pack a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. Sony’s 50MP IMX852 will handle the main camera duties on this device. A 32MP front-facing camera will be placed inside the punch-hole cutout on the display. The 7,050mAh battery pack will support 44W wired charging.

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC. The rear camera panel will house a 50MP primary shooter. There will be support for expandable storage.
