Unboxing, First Impressions, Camera Test and more.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max come with Super Retina XDR OLED displays, measuring 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively, protected by Apple’s Ceramic Shield, which is twice as tough as glass on any other smartphone. Both models offer a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. With an IP68 rating, they’re dust and water-resistant like their predecessors. Apple has enhanced the mechanical design for better heat dissipation and optimized battery life, delivering up to 20% more sustained performance. Along with the Action button, these models introduce a new touch-sensitive Camera Control button for quick camera access.

The 3nm A18 Pro chip powers the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max and offer up to 1TB of storage. Both models come with iOS 18 pre-installed and will support all Apple Intelligence features once iOS 18.1 is released. Apple Intelligence leverages Apple silicon and generative models to understand language, generate images, and perform actions across apps while using Private Cloud Compute to protect user privacy and security. This system dynamically shifts between on-device processing and server-based models using dedicated Apple silicon servers. The first Apple Intelligence features will roll out next month in U.S. English as a free software update.
