Ai+ Smartphone has announced to launch Nova Series in India next month. The company has officially revealed the launch date of the new devices: Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra. The company claims that the phone will prioritise performance and feature customisable back-panel lighting for personalisation.

Ai+ Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra will debut on April 9. The devices are said to be available across Flipkart and other distribution channels. Furthermore, three additional models, Nova 2 Pro, Nova 2 Neo, and Nova Flip, will be released in the following months.

Both models include flat-edge mid-frames, which help grip and add to the streamlined look. The devices’ rear panels are available in either a glossy or a shiny finish, which effectively highlights the “Nova” logo and improves the overall visual appeal.

The Nova 2 Ultra is set to have customisable technology that improves user engagement. One of its most notable features is the responsive back-panel light, which responds dynamically to different stimuli such as calls, messages, music, and alerts. According to the teaser picture, the gadget has a circular interactive light ring in the middle of the rear panel, allowing for engaging user feedback. This light ring has multi-coloured RGB capability. The camera arrangement seems to sport a sleek, dual-lens layout that is vertically orientated in the top-left corner, accompanied by a small LED flash to aid low-light shooting. Furthermore, the product will be available in three different colourways: green, a rich jewel-toned finish; red, a deep metallic burgundy texture; and black, a traditional matte-textured dark grey/black look.

Nova 2, on the other hand, is designed with a playful aesthetic, using trendy colours that appeal to contemporary tastes. Notably, the gadget has an integrated camera island that is both colour-matched and slightly raised, resulting in a seamless merge with the phone’s back panel. The branding is kept simple, with the “Ai+” logo in the centre, which complements the device’s symmetrical form. It will be available in three colours: purple, a subtle lavender hue; sky blue, a light pastel shade; and rose pink.

With the Nova Series, we are expanding what a smartphone can mean to people,” said Madhav Sheth, CEO, Ai+ Smartphone and Founder, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies. “For some, it is about reliability and performance. For others, it is about identity and expression. This lineup is built to deliver both without compromise, without complexity, and without creating barriers to access.”
