Samsung has released the Galaxy M17 5G in India, with availability through its website and Amazon from October 13. The device’s triple-rear camera configuration includes a 50-megapixel primary back camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Enhanced CPU performance and a bigger battery (5,000mAh) with 25W wired fast charging capabilities. The phone will be available in two colour variants.

Price in India, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G has been introduced in India, with the entry-level model beginning at Rs. 12,499 and featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The gadget is also available in higher configurations, priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB RAM model and Rs. 15,499 for the 8GB RAM option, both of which have the same storage capacity of 128GB. The smartphone will be on sale on October 13 through Amazon, the official company website, and select retail shops. Consumers will be able to pick between two colour options: Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black.

For the benefit of customers, the company is providing interest-free equivalent monthly instalments (EMIs) for up to three months on purchases made using credit or debit cards from specified banking partners.

Specifications, Features

The Samsung phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1,100 nits for improved visibility. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which resists scratches and moderate impacts. It runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 preinstalled. Samsung has committed to delivering six operating system upgrades and six years of security patches. The gadget comes with a number of artificial intelligence functions, including Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live. It also has On-device Voice Mail, Samsung Knox Vault for security, Voice Focus for improved audio clarity, and Samsung Wallet, which allows Galaxy M-series phone users to make “Tap & Pay” transactions.

The gadget is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset and can support up to 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, it has 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card, allowing users more control over their data and media.

The most recent addition to the Galaxy M-series has an advanced triple rear camera system intended to improve photography skills. The primary camera has a remarkable 50-megapixel resolution and uses Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to enhance image clarity and steadiness. This is complemented with a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera, which provides a wider field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, which is meant to capture delicate details from close range. The device also includes a front-facing 13-megapixel selfie camera, which is deliberately placed within a tear-drop cutout at the top of the display for an inconspicuous user experience.

It supports Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi connectivity, giving you a variety of methods to connect to other devices and networks. In addition, the gadget has a USB Type-C connection, which allows for data transfer and charging. The smartphone is powered by a powerful 5,000mAh battery that enables 25W wired fast charging.
