Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G goes on sale for the first time in India

The new tab offers five years of operating system updates and seven years of security updates.

Recently, Redmi introduced the Pad 2 Pro 5G in the Indian market, which is now available for purchase. The tablet has gone on sale today, featuring a 12,000 mAh battery and a quad speaker setup. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC. It comes with a 12.1-inch display and runs on HyperOS 2.

Pricing and Sale Details

The Wi-Fi-only version of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, starts at Rs 22,999 in India. The price goes up to Rs 25,999 for the model that has Wi-Fi and 5G. You can also get the more powerful variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, Wi-Fi, and 5G for Rs 27,999. Xiaomi is offering an instant reduction of up to Rs 2,000 on purchases made using Axis Bank, SBI, and ICICI Bank credit cards to make the shopping experience better.

It can be purchased via the Xiaomi online store and comes in two colour options: silver and grey.

Qualcomm’s octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 CPU powers the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G. The Adreno 810 GPU comes with the chipset and improves graphics performance, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, including gaming and entertainment. The device has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, which makes it easy to multitask and process data quickly. It also has up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which is enough for big files and apps. HyperOS 2 is the user interface for the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G. It is based on Android 15 and has new features and functions that make using the device more enjoyable. The firm promises to give its consumers five years of operating system updates and seven years of security updates. This will make sure that they have long-term support and better security.
