Thomson has brought its JioTele OS to India’s 32-inch smart TV market. The 32-inch JIO Tele OS TV has many cool features, like voice search in several languages, AI-driven content discovery that is intended for Indian viewers, and separate modes for sports, sound, and music.
The new 32-inch Thomson JIO Tele OS TVs come with a price tag of Rs 9,499. The device is currently available for purchase via Flipkart in the country.
The Thomson 32-inch QLED 32TJHQ002 model, with its bezel-less QLED panel and HD-ready resolution, represents substantial developments. It has a brightness of 350 nits and supports HDR, which together aim to improve the entire viewing experience.
The device’s core is an Amlogic processor, which works with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage to provide effective functioning. The television has a voice-enabled remote that can recognise several Indian languages. Notably, this remote includes special shortcut keys that allow users to quickly access popular streaming platforms like Netflix, JioCinema, Jio Hotstar, and YouTube, streamlining the viewing experience and ensuring customer convenience.

Thomson is expanding its relationship with the Jio digital ecosystem with the debut of a new device, a television running the JioTele OS. This smart television gives consumers access to over 400 free live TV channels and 300 JioGames. It also offers a varied array of global and regional over-the-top (OTT) platforms available through the Jio Store. Notably, the platform contains AI-driven content recommendations to improve the user experience, as well as a dedicated sports mode that caters to consumers’ growing interest in live sports and personalised content discovery on connected televisions.

The Thomson 32-inch QLED model features 36W stereo box speakers that provide surround sound capabilities. It offers various sound settings designed for diverse viewing experiences, such as standard, movie, sport, and music. The connectivity options are numerous, including dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. Users can connect various devices via its two HDMI ports, which have Audio Return Channel (ARC) and Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), as well as two USB ports and an optical digital audio output. This range of connectivity options allows for the integration of external speakers, headphones, and gaming devices, which improves the overall multimedia experience.
