Before you begin

As mentioned earlier, this feature only works on supported songs. If the artist has made translations available for your device’s language on a particular song, the translate button will pop up on that song’s lyric card. The translations are synced to the song, just like the original lyrics. However, they don’t show up as previews in the Now Playing section.

If you don’t see the translate button on the lyric card, it could mean one of the following things:

  • The song does not support translations.
  • The song translations are available, but not in your device’s language.
  • You’re using an older version of the Spotify app.
