Samsung today announced the global launch of the Galaxy A27 5G. The gadget has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 CPU. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5, has Samsung Knox Vault for better security, and comes with up to six years of OS and security upgrades. It has a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. As for the dimensions and weight, the Galaxy A27 5G measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200 grams. It also offers IP64 water and dust resistance, allowing it to deal with various conditions.
The Galaxy A27 runs on Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and has been installed with Samsung Knox Vault for further protection. The A27 5G comes with six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates for longer use. It has Samsung Knox for hardware-backed security and Knox Vault for preserving sensitive information.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 CPU that is based on a 4 nm architecture and has an octa-core setup with four cores operating at 2.4GHz and the other four at 1.8GHz.
It comes with multiple memory and storage configurations, which include 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and enables MicroSD expansion up to 2TB. It is powered by a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
The Circle to Search tool supports multi-object recognition, allowing users to search for many things from an image at the same time. Users may also virtually try on clothes based on search results. The Object Eraser provides more accuracy for natural edits. Voice Transcription in the Voice Recorder app now supports 22 languages for transcription. The Galaxy A27 5G has a variety of AI assistants, including Google Gemini and Perplexity, as well as improved interaction with native Galaxy applications such as Gallery. It also supports Bixby, which allows users to manage device settings using natural language.

The camera system is a versatile one, with a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 2MP macro camera and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Pricing and Availability
The company is yet to reveal the price of the smartphone but it is said to comes in three colour options Black, Blue, Light Green and Light Pink. Additionally, the firm has confirmed that the Galaxy A27 5G will be available starting July 3 in select markets.
