Nothing recently confirmed the launch date of Phone 4b in India. The company has just shared an official teaser giving us an in-depth look at the upcoming phone ahead of its formal debut on July 7. The design focuses on a unique colour scheme and texture and promotes standard durability for customers.

Nothing Phone 4b design explained

Nothing released the Phone 4a’s official image in a striking blue-coloured model, which is in stark contrast to the conventional clear and monochromatic design found in most of its devices. The creative design comprises a semi-transparent back panel with a textured blue internal canvas, emphasising the product’s distinctive visual character. It also keeps Nothing’s industrial design aesthetic with accent screws visible, and the coloured panel adds to the visual appeal of the design.

At the heart of this design is the seamless unibody design, which lends itself to structural stability while taking inspiration from the Phone 4a Pro. Another intriguing feature is the Glyph Bar, which is more compact with six white LED segments. They are implemented for many reasons such as notification, timer and progress indicators. These are ideally placed near the camera module for convenient viewing. The unit also has a one-of-a-kind red LED block that signals when active video recording is in progress, enhancing the functionality and user experience relative to prior generations. The blend of aesthetics and utility is indicative of a well-considered take on contemporary smartphone design and functionality.

The Phone 4b is purposely positioned to appeal to a younger, more budget-conscious market. It features a simpler LED arrangement than higher-end versions, helping keep the cost down.

As you can see, the gadget has a dual-camera setup on the top part of the rear panel. This pill-shaped module stores the LED flash and other sensors and adds to the usefulness of this arrangement. The textured camera housing also adds a useful function while enhancing the overall aesthetics, with a cohesive, hardware-forward design that blends into the appearance and feel of the smartphone.

The Phone 4b is designed to have a smooth, skin-friendly matte texture, making it more comfortable and usable for long periods of everyday usage. It is intended to provide a better grip and can be used over a long time. It is also developed with improved structural resilience to withstand drops and the wear and tear of daily use.

Apart from that, the device is likely to be made available in two different configurations. It is expected to be priced between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000 less than its more premium sibling, the Nothing Phone 4a.

Leaked Geekbench listing revealed that the phone managed to score 1,088 for single-core performance and 3,155 for multi-core performance. These results confirm the handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm SM6650 processor, which is part of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 series.

The processor also works at a base frequency of 1.80GHz, with a prime core that can turbo up to 2.30GHz. Along with these characteristics, the gadget will include 8GB RAM and an Adreno 810 GPU. The phone is likely to run on the Android 16 platform.
