The Carl Pei-led brand Nothing is all set to unveil its new smartphone series in India next month. The firm has officially confirmed the Nothing Phone 4b India launch date. The upcoming ‘B’ series phone is expected to be a budget smartphone featuring a transparent back panel and a pill-shaped rear camera module with an LED flash. The phone will also have a horizontal Glyph Bar UI like the Phone 4a. The phone was also spotted listed on the Geekbench website with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
The Nothing Phone 4b is set to launch in India on July 7 at 3:30 pm IST. The announcement follows on the heels of the firm teasing the debut of a new ‘B’ series gadget before implying that the upcoming product would be much more affordable than the Nothing Phone 4b. Not much is known about the mobile phone, but it is confirmed that it will go on sale in the nation via Flipkart.
The teaser suggests the smartphone would come with a transparent rear panel, flat back and rounded edges. The company has teased the smartphone as having a pill-shaped back camera module and an LED flash. The Phone 4b will also have a Glyph Bar interface on the rear, running horizontally, much like the Nothing Phone 4a.
Meanwhile, the device appeared on the Geekbench website with a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. The gadget was identified as model number Nothing A009P. The benchmark scores are 1,088 for single-core performance and 3,155 for multi-core performance. These results confirm the handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm SM6650 processor, which is part of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 family.

The processor also works at a base frequency of 1.80GHz, with a prime core that can turbo up to 2.30GHz. Along with these characteristics, the gadget will include 8GB RAM and an Adreno 810 GPU. The phone is likely to run on the Android 16 platform.
Leaks suggest that the upcoming Nothing smartphone might come in at least two distinct RAM and storage configurations. Moreover, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to be priced between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000 less than its more premium sibling, the Nothing Phone 4a.
