Vivo T5 Pro 5G price increased by up to Rs 7,000: Details

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G has undergone a price increase for all its variants in India by up to Rs 7,000. The entry-level version has also had a big price change, jumping to Rs 41,999 from its initial launch price of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage model. This spike comes after a similar price boost for five Vivo Y-series smartphones, with additional price rises predicted next week. An official announcement is still awaited.

Vivo T5 Pro 5G new price details

Vivo has raised the pricing of its T5 Pro 5G smartphone models. The base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is now priced at Rs 41,999, which represents a hike of Rs 6,000. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage has had a price bump of Rs 7,000 and now costs Rs 46,999. The premium variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is now priced at Rs 69,999 and falls in the mid-flagship pricing class.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G was introduced in India in April this year with a price tag of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 33,999, while the top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 39,999.

The smartphone comes in two colour variants – cosmic black and glacier blue.

Specifications, Features

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G runs Android 16 and ColorOS 16. It is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 CPU. It has a complex vapour chamber cooling system with a large 7,000 sq mm surface for heat dissipation to keep the temperature stable. You can get up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of storage on the gadget. The 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display has a resolution of 1260×2800 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It is also certified by SGS for Low Blue Light and Low Flicker. It also supports HDR10+ and has options for Sleep Comfort and Anti-Motion Sickness. The phone is also certified IP68 and IP69, which means it can handle a lot of dust and water.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G has two cameras on the back. It has a primary camera with 50 megapixels, a Sony IMX882 sensor, optical image stabilisation, and lossless zoom up to 10x. The second camera is a bokeh camera with 2 megapixels.

The front camera is 32 megapixels, which is excellent for taking selfies and making video calls. The gadget can capture 4K footage with both the front and back cameras.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is fuelled by a 9,020mAh silicon-carbon battery that lets you use it for a long time. It allows speedy 90W wired fast charging, which quickly gives it juice. The gadget has a wide range of connectivity options, such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector, so it can meet a variety of networking demands. It also has many sensors, such as an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, an e-compass, a proximity sensor, and a gyroscope, enhancing its functionality and user experience.
