Samsung has announced the Galaxy Book 6 in the US. The new laptop is powerful with an Intel Core i5 CPU and up to 1TB storage. The laptop comes with a 14-inch WUXGA LCD display for a better viewing experience. It also houses Galaxy AI and various linked tools to build an integrated ecosystem. Another big plus is an impressive battery life of up to 25 hours on a single charge, making it an interesting choice for anyone seeking performance and durability.

Price in India and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 is offered in two colour options: Violet Silver and Gray. The basic model starts at $799 (roughly Rs 75,800) and is available in versions with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Users who want more power may choose higher models with 16GB of RAM and storage capacities of 512GB and 1TB. As of now, Samsung hasn’t shared any news about the launch of Galaxy Book 6 in India.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 is a very portable gadget, with a thickness of 15.7mm and a weight of 1.35kg, which makes it perfect for everyday usage. The device has a 14-inch WUXGA LCD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10 meaning that it has more vertical viewing area which is useful for multitasking tasks. The display can reach up to 350 nits of peak brightness so it is visible in a range of lighting conditions. The device also has anti-reflective technology to reduce glare which aids with usability in different situations.

The Samsung laptop is powered by an Intel Core 5 CPU and a 15 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe storage. The machine is powered by Galaxy AI, and boosts user experience with features like AI Select to select content directly, AI Cutout to edit images like a pro, and Note Assist to quickly summarize notes. Quick Share and Storage Share allows you to share and access files quickly across Galaxy devices, and Multi Control allows you to control a number of Galaxy devices with one keyboard and mouse. The Second Screen functionality allows a Galaxy Tab to act as another display, and Nearby Devices boost connection.

Also, it has Link to Windows, which brings Galaxy smartphone capabilities to the PC. It runs on Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro 25H2 depending on the setup.

The laptop has a 2-megapixel camera and supports 1080p Full-HD video recording. It also comes with dual-array digital microphones and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for more immersive audio.

The Galaxy Book6 comes with plenty of connections, including two USB Type-C 3 ports, a USB Type-A port, four HDMI 1.4 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you won’t need any extra dongles. It also has a wireless connection with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 is designed to go longer on a single charge, including a large 61.2Wh battery that can deliver up to 25 hours of battery life. The device also supports 45W fast charging that can charge the device to 33% in 30 minutes. Plus, the Galaxy Book 6 is built to last through heavy-duty quality testing and support through Samsung Care+ that includes accidental damage and repairs.
