Lava has officially entered the UK smartphone market with the launch of AGNI 4N

Lava has launched its flagship AGNI 4N in the UK, thereby formally entering the UK smartphone market. The luxury design has an aluminium alloy frame and a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display. It also comes with a dual 50MP camera configuration that can shoot 4K at 60FPS. This smartphone is powered by Vayu AI with intelligent assistants. The AGNI Promise also includes a promise to provide 2 Android upgrades and 3 years of security updates, a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging for longer battery life.

Specifications and Features

The Lava AGNI 4N features a precision-engineered aluminium alloy metal frame and ultra-slim 1.7 mm equilateral bezels for a full-screen experience. It has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2400 nits, which offers great visibility under outdoor conditions. The colour depth is 10-bit, which means it can display 1.07 billion colours for vivid visuals.

The AGNI 4N also offers a customisable Action Key, where users can select over 100 action combinations – like short, double and long presses – for key functions such as the camera, torch, vibration mode and various applications for a personalised experience.

The device also features a Super Anti-Drop Diamond structure for durability, providing all-angle protection and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It can even withstand rainfall for 1 hour. It also has Wet Touch Control technology for ensuring responsiveness even when hands are wet. The screen is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass.

The AGNI 4N smartphone packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G processor with a 4nm manufacturing process and scores more than 1.7 million on AnTuTu (V11). It features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, as well as a 4300mm² VC Liquid Cooling System. It introduces Vayu AI, a smart companion that sits right on the home screen, allowing voice-first interactions and access to Lava’s Gen-AI ecosystem. The AI features include Expert AI Agents, AI Text Assistant, AI Call Summary, AI Photo Editor, AI Image Generator and Document & Image Analyser, all enhanced with voice and visual intelligence, Circle-to-Search and full system integration.

The smartphone features a 50MP Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera. It is capable of recording 4K video at 60fps with the front and rear cameras. Other features include AI scene optimisation, skin tone enhancement, Dynamic Contrast Generation (DCG), Dual-View Video option and Document Correction functionality.

The Lava Agni 4N is equipped with a 5,000mAh high-density battery with intelligent power optimisation that provides up to 10 hours of entertainment on YouTube and other OTT platforms. It also supports 66W Super Charging that can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in less than 19 minutes.

Pricing and Availability

Lava AGNI 4N is set to launch on September 4th, available on Amazon for £499. It features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Available in two colours: Phantom Black and Lunar Mist.
