Logitech has announced MX Keypad, the first MX Multi-App AI Control Center for developers, aimed to accelerate workflows with fast access to several agents and coding tools. It supports a variety of AI coding tools and IDEs like GitHub Copilot and VS Code, which enables quick macros and code restructuring to be performed efficiently. Highly customisable, each key can be programmed for particular applications, incorporating suggestions from the GitHub and Logitech MX Collective communities into a developer-centric design.
Logitech has launched the MX Keypad, which is widely compatible with all major coding platforms, allowing customers to customise their processes without restrictions. The MX Keypad is designed to simplify AI processes, complex prompts, and development tools, facilitating seamless integration across many settings.
The gadget comes with plugins for GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, focusing on compatibility and ease of usage. Created in conjunction with GitHub, the MX Keypad has built-in support for Visual Studio Code and the GitHub Copilot app, providing developers with a smooth experience. Every MX Keypad now comes with a free three-month membership to GitHub Copilot Pro+, adding even more value.
The Logi Actions SDK enables users to rapidly create custom tools with AI-friendly documentation for quick iteration. Additionally, the community has contributed new plugins to Claude Code and to the Codex by OpenAI, improving the real-time tracking and control capabilities.
From a sustainability perspective, the MX Keypad is made with 64% post-consumer recycled plastic and FSC-certified paper packaging – a testament to Logitech’s dedication to ecologically friendly operations.
