Galaxy Buds On adopts a clip-type design with lightweight to decrease stress when worn for a long time and improve situational awareness for safety. The headphones provide customers the option of the immersive in-ear Galaxy Buds or the outdoor-friendly clip-on version, which is perfect for sports such as jogging. Samsung Electronics has used data on ear shapes to optimise the positioning of the speaker and battery, creating an ergonomic design that increases the contact surface, distributes pressure evenly and adjusts elasticity for stability during movement.

Improved usability lets you manage music playing and calls with a gentle tap on the rear of the earbuds. They use modern technology to overcome the acoustic restrictions of a non-blocking design, including TwinBoost speakers for better low frequencies and intelligent volume control that reacts to the surrounding environment. The Buds On also include Audio Leakage Reduction technology to minimise sound leaking, making them ideal for calm public areas like libraries and cafés. Under the hood, they’re built with the Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform and a Class-D amplifier that’s very efficient, so you get up to 9.5 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The Galaxy Buds line also has Intelligent Clear Call technology to provide great call quality.

The Galaxy Buds On are loaded with innovative tech for better voice interaction. This includes three microphones and a vibration sensor that uses bone conduction, called the Voice Pickup Unit Sensor, which picks up vibrations from the user’s speech. This is further helped by a machine learning-driven approach that enhances voice separation and reduces background noise, making it effective for clear speech even in busy surroundings. Users may pair their Galaxy Buds with compatible smartphones or tablets to use hands-free features, including voice chats, notes and alerts. Gemini Live for real-time chats and task management is available with the phrase “Hey Google, let’s talk live.”

The Buds On also offer a rapid voice memo option, allowing users to record audio messages with a long tap on the earphone’s touch area. These recordings can be easily searched by Bixby without having to use the smartphone directly. It should work on devices that have Galaxy AI support, the Samsung Voice Recorder and the Bixby app. The long-press action has to be set by the user in the Settings app before it can be used. The earphones also have a head gesture function, allowing users to accept calls or dismiss alarms by just moving their heads. Just opening the charging case makes connecting to Galaxy smartphones or tablets a breeze, and volume and equaliser settings may be altered immediately via smartphone settings, without the need for the Galaxy Wearable app.
