Samsung Galaxy M12 renders leaked, to equip a square-shaped quad rear camera set up

The device is shown to have a dual-textured rear panel and a waterdrop-style notch display

The rumoured upcoming handset from the South Korean brand, Samsung Galaxy M12 has been leaked multiple times. Now the rumoured smartphone has been leaked again and this time multiple renders of the device have been shared by a tipster showcasing the rear as well as the front of the phone. Its back resembles the just-launched Samsung Galaxy A42 5G having a textured rear. While the front has slim bezels but a noticeable chin. The previous reports suggest that the device will equip a massive 7,000mAh battery

The latest leaked render of the Samsung Galaxy M12 might look like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A42 5G but it has some minor changes. Multiple renders of the alleged phone have been leaked by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer also known as OnLeaks. According to him, the upcoming Samsung smartphone has the same plastic unibody rear cover similar to Galaxy A42 5G with flat front panel. The rear features a square-shaped rear camera set up housing four cameras while the LED flash is located just below the camera system.

Unlike the Galaxy A42 5G, M12 has a unique dual-textured design with a stripped upper section and a smooth glossy lower section. The right side of the phone is seen to have a fingerprint sensor that has been embedded within the power button. In addition to this, there is an Infinity-V notch instead of a curved Infinity-U notch. While the Samsung logo is also located on the back and a Type-C port, speaker grille and the 3.5mm audio jack sits at the bottom edge

As per the tipster, the flat screen is 6.5-inch in size and measures about 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm (10mm with rear camera bump included).

Previously the Samsung Galaxy M12 is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch hole-punch display which contradicts the OnLeaks information. The device is expected to house a massive 7,000mAh battery. While the other details of the phone still remain unknown. But the Samsung smartphone is likely to release in 2021.
