Reliance Jio has unnoticed introduced the JioBharat B1 series in India. The device replaces the JioBharat V2 and K1 Karbonn. It comes with a 2,000mAh battery and a 2.4-inch display. It is a basic feature phone with an alphanumeric keypad with multi-lingual support. The handset supports 4G connectivity. As of now, the telco has presented a single phone but it may bring more mobile phones to the series.

Reliance has introduced JioBharat B1 in a single variant priced at Rs 1,299. The phone is made available in a lone black colour option. It can be purchased via the company’s official website as well as via Amazon in the country.

JioBharat B1 specifications and features

Starting with the design JioBharat B1 sports a shiny and matte finish. The back panel has the company’s log while the rear camera is sitting inside a rectangular module which also has a speaker grille. It has a single nano SIM slot. The mobile phone has a 2.4-inch rectangular QVGA display. It runs on Threadx RTOS. The device comes with a 0.05GB of RAM. While the internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. There is a provision of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB. Additionally, the phone includes 4G connectivity.

JioBharat B1 has a 2,000mAh battery that is touted to provide up to 343 hours of standby time. The mobile phone comes pre-loaded with JioCinema and JioSaavn.

The device includes a rear camera setup and the resolution of the lens is unspecified. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 4G phone has an alphanumeric keypad that is said to support 23 languages, including several regional Indian dialects. Not just that it comes loaded with JioPay, which allows users to make UPI payments.
