That being said, the South Korean tech giant has officially announced the release of its low-cost wristwatch, the Galaxy Watch FE. Let’s see what awaits us with the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE price in India and sale details

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is anticipated to cost less than Rs 20,000 in India, but the exact price is still not disclosed. There are three colours available for the device: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver. The US version is anticipated to retail for about USD 215, or roughly Rs 18,000.

According to the company, Galaxy Watch FE will be available globally this summer.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE design and specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE weighs 26.6g and has dimensions of 39.3 x 40.4 x 9.8 mm. Though it is available in the three colour combinations listed above, the watch bands have unique orange and blue stitching that enhances the appearance and creates a fashionable piece that goes with any outfit. Its Sapphire Crystal glass provides superior durability and protection against scratches, making it easy to mix and match with other watches.

A 1.2-inch circular Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 396 x 396 is featured on the Watch FE. Support for Always on Display is included. The FE version is certified to meet MIL-STD-810H military requirements and has a 5ATM and IP68 rating for up to 50 metres of water resistance.

The firm has disclosed, the Exynos W920 Dual Core chipset, similar to the Galaxy Watch 4, powers the device. Along with 16GB of storage, it comes with 1.5GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Watch FE is compatible with Android 11 or later in terms of connectivity. It is pre-configured with the One UI 5 Watch skin and runs Wear OS, which is powered by Samsung. Support for Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and LTE are all included. A barometer, gyro, light, geomagnetic, accelerometer, and gyroscope are among the sensors on board.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE fitness and health features

With its BioActive Sensor, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch FE provides a number of wellness and fitness features. With features like sleep coaching and sleep monitoring, it offers personalised guidance for getting better sleep. Additionally, the watch provides heart health monitoring through features like Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification, which notify users of atrial fibrillation, and HR Alert, which detects abnormal heart rates. It also tracks ECG and blood pressure to provide a more comprehensive picture of cardiac health. These functions support users in keeping up a healthy lifestyle.

With the Galaxy Watch FE, users can monitor their progress on more than 100 workouts right from their wrist. Its advanced running analysis gives runners the insight along with guidance they need to stay injury-free and keep pushing their goals. Users can establish goals with a Personalised Heart Rate Zone according to their physical ability. Throughout their wellness journey, customers can receive motivational messages from Body Composition, which offers full body and fitness statistics.

With the help of Find My Phone and Camera Controller, users of the Galaxy Watch FE can locate their phone even when it isn’t linked to their watch and remotely operate its camera. This allows for seamless connectivity across all Samsung Galaxy devices. It is an all-in-one digital wallet because it also supports Samsung Wallet, which enables users to pay for goods and access identity documents like their driver’s licence or student ID on their wristwatch.
