Following the arrival of the Pixel 9 series, Google officially retired previous-generation Pixel models, with pricing on the Pixel 8 series phones and the Pixel 7a slashed, providing more affordable options. The Pixel 7a is the only smartphone in the Pixel 7 Series to get this price reduction in India. Google has slashed the cost of the Pixel 8 series by up to Rs 7,000.
