Lava Launches AGNI 3: The First Dual AMOLED Display Smartphone in its Segment

Indian smartphone maker introduces AGNI 3 with MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor and innovative features.

In a bold move to ignite the mid-range smartphone market, Lava has unveiled the AGNI 3, featuring a Dual AMOLED Display—a first in its segment. The Lava AGNI 3 Dual AMOLED Display smartphone aims to set the competition ablaze with its innovative features and an introductory price starting at Rs 19,999.

Dual AMOLED Displays: Twice the Appeal

Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? Lava certainly doesn’t. The AGNI 3 sports not one but two AMOLED displays. The primary 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D Curved AMOLED screen offers a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and vibrant visuals. However, the plot twist is the secondary 1.74-inch 2D AMOLED display on the back. This rear display isn’t just a gimmick; it’s a functional addition that lets you take high-quality selfies using the rear camera, manage calls, and check notifications without flipping the phone.

Performance: Power Meets Efficiency

Under the hood, the AGNI 3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor—a debut in this segment. Built on a 4nm process, this octa-core chipset promises to juggle your apps and games without breaking a sweat. Whether you’re a multitasker or a mobile gamer, this processor aims to keep things running smoother than a freshly ironed shirt.

Lava AGNI 3 Camera: Triple Threat

Photography enthusiasts, rejoice! The AGNI 3 packs a versatile triple rear camera setup. It features a 50MP Sony Quad-Bayer primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3X optical and 30X super zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 112-degree field of view. The 16MP front camera, enhanced with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), ensures your selfies are always on point—even if your arm isn’t.

Battery and Charging: Less Waiting, More Doing

Battery anxiety might become a thing of the past with the AGNI 3’s 5000mAh battery and 66W fast charging. According to Lava, you can juice up to 50% in just 18 minutes—quicker than deciding what to watch on Netflix.

Design: Form Meets Function

Available in Heather Glass and Pristine Glass finishes, the AGNI 3 doesn’t skimp on style. With a 57° 3D curvature on both the front and back and an ultra-thin middle frame of just 0.28cm, it’s designed to feel as good as it looks. Plus, with an IP-64 rating, it can handle a splash or two—just don’t take it scuba diving.

Software and Updates: Future-Proofing

Running on the latest Android 14, the AGNI 3 offers a clean user experience without the bloatware bloat. Lava’s AGNI Shapat updates promise three assured Android upgrades and four years of security updates. In a world where smartphones age faster than avocados, that’s a commitment worth noting.

Customer Service: The AGNI Mitra Advantage

Lava is turning up the heat on customer service with AGNI Mitra customer service, providing each AGNI 3 owner with a dedicated personal assistant. This includes free home replacement for any hardware issues within the one-year warranty period. It’s like having a tech-savvy friend on speed dial—minus the awkward small talk.
