Technology giant Apple rarely ever stays out of the news. Apple intends to release the iPhone SE 4 next week, likely through the company’s website rather than a launch event, as the device’s predecessor was unveiled, according to a report that first appeared in Bloomberg.
The 2025 iPhone SE will be available for purchase later this month, even though several 2022 model options are currently sold out at US retailers, it was also disclosed. In the US and India, the phone will be sold on Apple’s website, costing a little more than the 2022 model.

Previous leaks about the iPhone SE 4 have also surfaced online that suggest that the third-generation model, succeeding the one that was introduced in 2022 will see significant improvements. The leaked images suggest a single rear camera and a taller camera bump than the iPhone 16. The power button is also visible on the right side of the display, just like its predecessor.
The iPhone SE 4 is set to undergo a significant design change, featuring a notch-based design that matches Apple’s flagship aesthetics and Face ID for the first time, and a larger 6.1-inch OLED display with thinner bezels.
Contrary to reports that Apple is integrating Dynamic Island into its most affordable iPhone model, another report indicates that the future phone will have a notch similar to the one found on the iPhone 14.
According to speculations, the SE 4 will run on the latest A18 Bionic processor and will offer Apple Intelligence features, such as an updated Siri with AI capabilities.

The SE 4 is expected to include a larger battery and USB Type-C charging, and the tech community is betting on a 48MP rear camera, akin to Apple’s premium handsets, which might feature Smart HDR, better Night Mode, and higher-quality video recording.
It’s unclear what fresh developments Apple will introduce to the market with the upcoming release of the iPhone SE 4.
