Bharti Airtel has unveiled India’s first unrestricted International Roaming (IR) plans, which provide unlimited data in 189 countries. The plans are intended to make the IR experience easier, more economical, and less stressful for customers. The recharge package, which has a one-year validity period, includes incentives for both India and internationally. The new ideas are designed to make IR more accessible and affordable.

Airtel has announced a recharge package for NRIs for Rs 4000 that includes 5GB of data and 100 voice minutes for usage overseas, while consumers in India may use the same plan to receive 1.5GB of daily data and unlimited call benefits. This one-year plan offers a hassle-free connectivity experience in 189 countries, including India, where consumers may use the same number without needing to recharge separately.

Furthermore, the new international roaming plans include in-flight connectivity, auto activation of services upon arrival overseas, and 24×7 contact centre assistance.
These plans cover 189 countries, avoiding uncertainty about which zone or pack to choose.

The automatic renewal option enables regular travellers to purchase packs several times, reducing hassle.  The affordable packs are less expensive than most in-country or local SIM cards, hence, local SIM cards are unnecessary. Customers can handle their overseas roaming needs with the Airtel Thanks app, which gives usage, billing information, and data or minutes as required.
