Amazon India launches AI-powered Seller Assistant to help millions of MSMEs ahead of Prime Day. Available in English and Hinglish, 24/7, this offering combines Amazon’s selling expertise with cutting-edge AI technologies to simplify seller operations. Powered by Amazon Nova foundation models and Anthropic Claude and built on Amazon Bedrock, the Seller Assistant brings Amazon’s vision to life for Indian sellers by offering personalised recommendations, answers to selling queries, relevant business insights, and help with everyday business decisions, reducing complexity and improving the selling experience.
Amazon India will improve seller experience for MSMEs with AI-powered selling solutions ahead of Prime Day 2026. The newly launched Amazon Seller Assistant is our business partner, helping onboard and create catalogues by auto-generating product names and descriptions and pre-filling listings, which saves sellers hours of catalogue labour and cuts it down to just minutes.
Also, machine learning provides personalised restock recommendations and works well with Amazon’s fulfilment systems to optimise inventory management across India. Additionally, sellers will be able to use the Customised On-Demand Ads Experts (CODE) programme for AI-driven ad diagnostics and performance analytics and Amazon Vine for trusted product reviews for new products.

The Amazon Seller Assistant offers AI-driven support on international growth strategies, including product suggestions based on market demand analysis, for companies wishing to grow globally. The platform also helps sellers with country-specific compliance, such as looking over the necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with local legislation and step-by-step tracking to help merchants navigate the international growth process effectively.
Seller Assistant customises onboarding for sellers based on their individual categories. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools help retailers speed product listing by enabling them to generate listings from a single picture, URL or description that auto-fills key product data. Pricing and fee estimations may be reviewed at both the ASIN and SKU levels to analyse margins before the product launch.
It also has specific restock suggestions that are aligned with sellers’ strategy and supply chain setups. A single platform may provide options for growth, such as joining the Vine programme for further credibility, optimising your pricing and expanding your product offers. Amazon India’s AI functions as an embedded intelligence layer, which improves the efficacy throughout the seller lifecycle, allows for quick catalogue changes and improves inventory planning, leading to higher customer satisfaction.
