Bambu Lab launches the 2026 School Ambassador Program to empower 50 students across North America in a year-long programme. Focused on hands-on STEM education, community leadership ambassadors have held 41 events since May, reaching more than 30,000 students, teachers and community members. Activities include a Maker Faire demonstration and a Fusion 360 workshop for making 3D-printed creations.

Bambu Lab has initiated the 2026 School Ambassador Program, a continent-wide campaign to bring 3D printing into school across North America. This training programme empowers students with the necessary skills to become engaged STEM educators and community leaders. Since its start in May 2026, the programme has chosen 50 ambassadors from approximately 400 applications, with participation ranging from eighth-grade to PhD candidates.

These ambassadors take the lead in organising seminars, courses, demonstrations and STEM activities for their peers, educators and local communities in 11 U.S. states and three Canadian cities. Throughout the summer, they held 41 events with more than 30,000 attendees. More than half of the events were education-orientated, while the rest were community involvement and product demonstration events.

Neo Chan, an eighth-grade Vancouver student, is using technology to help students better understand medical care via an initiative called Medi Pals. The aim of this project is to produce little 3D-printed versions of medical instruments that are glued to plush animals, providing youngsters with an interactive method to learn about medical procedures. To date, over 9,000 of the kits have been provided to hospitals and clinics throughout Canada, making a substantial influence on the way paediatric patients interact with their medical experiences.
