Let us guess. One more of your fellow mates turned into an Apple user from being a religious Android supporter. And now you see yourself caught in the tussle between what can be fairly called a tale of two cities, feeling yourself slowly give in to the need of keeping up and converting into an Apple user yourself. Right? But hey, you’re not alone. Many people face similar challenges in life. And we totally understand how difficult it is to switch from an Android to an Apple device, and vice versa. You have to train you’re mind and muscle memory to adjust to a whole new software universe. For example, you may be one who owns an Android smartphone but the in-ear headphones that you possess are Apple’s AirPods. And you might get confused about how to connect AirPods with Android, and first things first, do AirPods even work with Android devices (like Samsung, etc.)?
Yes! It is totally possible, in case you didn’t know before. So, if you’re scratching your head thinking about how to get going in such a situation, we are right here for your assistance. Below are the steps on how to connect your AirPods with Android, so that you can enjoy listening to music through your AirPods without ditching your Android buddy. Moreover, isn’t it fun to watch those strict Apple fans and Android enthusiasts get annoyed over how you over-smarted them?
Step 1: To enable Bluetooth on your Android smartphone, swipe down from your home screen to open your smartphone control panel, then tap once and long-press the Bluetooth icon to open the Bluetooth Settings window directly. You can also reach there by clicking Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. You will be able to see all the devices paired via Bluetooth to your Android device.
Step 2: In order to put your AirPods in pairing mode, open the AirPods case and then press and hold the button on its back until the status light flashes white and you’re able to see its name on the list of paired devices on your smartphone screen. This is to be followed if you’re using AirPods or AirPods Pro. In the case of AirPods Max, take them out of their case, hold the noise control button down on them until you see its name pop up on the paired devices list on your Android smartphone.
Step 3: Now all that’s left to do is just press the Pair button, and that’s it! You’ve successfully connected your Apple AirPods to your Android device.

Moreover, you need not go through the above process every time you want to use your AirPods, as they will automatically get connected to your Android device the next time you switch them open, provided it’s the same device that you used for the set up initially.
We would love to hear about your experience of using AirPods with your Android device. We will be waiting for you in the comments section below.
