WhatsApp recently rolled out a feature to create a group call link across all mobile devices. A WhatsApp group call link allows people to join the call at their own convenience, even after the call has started. Earlier, it was not possible for people to join a group call while it was ongoing. Here’s how you can create a WhatsApp group call link
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and go to the ‘Calls’ tab.
Step 2: Tap on ‘Create call link.’
Step 3: Choose whether you want to make an audio or video call.
Step 4: You can share the call link with your contacts on WhatsApp or social media and chat platforms. You can also copy the link and post it anywhere you want the people to see.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and swipe to the Community tab on the far left.
Step 2: Tap on ‘Start your Community.’
Step 3: Enter the Community name and Community description in the relevant fields. You can also upload an image as the Community thumbnail. Tap the forward arrow icon once you’re done.
Step 4: After entering the Community name and description, you can add pre-existing groups or create a new group. Tap on ‘Add an existing group’ to add groups that you’re an admin of.
Step 5: Tap the tick icon to create the Community.

Anyone with access to the link can join your call, so make sure you only give it out to people you know. Posting it on public status updates/stories can give access to people you don’t want on the call. Unused links expire after 90 days. Currently, call links only work on mobile devices, but WhatsApp will be looking to roll out this feature on its desktop app and web page too.
