Disable Google Smart Lock on Android
Below are the steps to turn off Google Smart Lock in the Chrome browser on your Android device.
Step 1: Open the Google Chrome app and tap the three dots placed at the top right corner. Select the “Settings” menu at the bottom.
Step 2: Choose “Passwords”.
Step 3: Toggle off the Save Passwords and disable “Auto Sign-in”.
Now, delete all the passwords you see by tapping on their individual entry and then on the trashcan (or delete) icon placed at the top or on the upper row of the page.
Disable Google Smart Lock on Chrome
Here’s how you can disable Google Smart Lock in Google Chrome on your Laptop or PC.
Step 1: Open the Chrome browser settings page by selecting three dots placed at the top right corner. Select the “Settings” menu from the given options.
Step 2: Choose “Auto-fill” from the sidebar and select “Passwords”
Step 3: Turn off the toggle for “Offer to save passwords off” and “Auto Sign-in”.
Now, delete all the passwords by Clearing browsing history or by tapping the three-dots menu on their individual entry and selecting “Remove” to delete.
