iPhone Duo Specifications, Features
The iPhone Duo comes with high durability, with an IP68-certified body and Ceramic Shield technology on both the front and back. The interior ribbed construction and ceramic-reinforced antenna splits add to the stiffness. The design is based on multi-layered engineering and is available in two finishes, Star White and Night Sky. Important components include a titanium bottom plate, carbon fibre supports, and an intricately designed hinge consisting of more than 100 precise parts. The gadget also has a proprietary matte nano-texture finish made using maskless laser lithography to reduce glare and noticeable creases. The pioneering multi-layer lamination uses viscoelastic adhesives that bend like the pages of a book when folded, minimising distortion greatly over time.
The iPhone Duo comes with a stunning 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display that is 50% bigger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max and 80% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro. It also has a 5.4-inch external display that takes up 90% of the surface of the iPhone 18 Pro. Importantly, both panels will support the Apple Pencil coming later this year.
Security-wise, the gadget has a side-button Touch ID and Apple Watch unlocking compatibility. Apple has also taken a big design decision, removing the traditional SIM tray and opting for an exclusive eSIM option globally for the Duo.
The iPhone foldable, powered by Apple’s cutting-edge A20 Pro CPU, showcases an impressive performance boost, providing up to 35% greater sustained performance than its predecessor, the iPhone 17 Pro. The new C2 cellular modem significantly enhances connectivity in this model.
The interface of the iPhone Duo is a major feature that can dynamically adapt to a variety of user behaviours, like folding, orientation shifts and flips, offering a smooth user experience. Content spreads seamlessly from the cover screen to the bigger interior display, giving you versatile use of the gadget.
The Duo also has a vertically oriented Home Screen dock and a smaller status bar, which, in combination with an expertly redesigned interface, optimise screen space and keep primary functions at your fingertips. All these features together improve the usefulness and performance of the Apple’s Duo, making it a cutting-edge mobile device.

It also comes with an Ultra Wide Camera and a 48MP Fusion camera from the iPhone 18 Pro, which adds to its wide-angle shooting prowess. The front boasts a 12MP Center Stage front camera on the cover display, which is equipped with capabilities appropriate for video calls and selfies. The combination of these cameras suggests a focus on high-resolution imagery and advanced photographic features.
The phone has a dual-battery arrangement, with one battery on each side, essentially functioning as a single cell. This setup is intended for extended battery life, with the inner screen providing up to 31 hours of continuous video playing and the outer screen up to 44 hours.
